John Hellberg is a film and commercial director with a distinct talent for capturing quirky characters and humor. In January 2025 John makes his feature film debut with Kattriket, distributed by TriArt Film across Sweden. The film is a dark comedy that showcases his ability to balance absurdity, humanity, and humor in a way that makes his stories both striking and entertaining.
Through his experience working with both amateurs and professional actors, John has developed an unusual flexibility in his directing – an ability to draw out the genuine and
human, whether it’s an absurd commercial character or a more subtle performance. Combined with his sense of humor, visual energy, and sharp ear for rhythm and
